Tusco Youth Trap Shooters 2018
We will be having our Youth Trap Shoots again this coming summer. Our age group this year goes from 8 years old until 18 years old. If you are 18 when the season starts, you may continue shooting with the youth group for the entire season.
As last year, all equipment will be provided by the club as well as 12 ga. and 20 ga. shot shells, clay targets and necessary safety equipment to the participate. If the youth wishes to use a shotgun in any other guage, they must provide the gun and their own shot shells for that gun. Per range rules, no larger shot than #6 may be used on the range and absolutely no slugs.
Our season will begin on Monday evening, April 30 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm and will continue on the 2nd & 4th Monday evening through the summer with the last shoot scheduled for August 20th. Exact dates are listed on the club calendar and below.
We need to have your child's registration form in by April 10, 2018. On Monday, April 23rd, at 7 pm there will be an orientation and safety meeting in the main club house. Participating youth MUST attend this meeting before they can shoot. It is recommended that at least one parent or guardian be present with the participant.
We will need the registration form filled out and we must have a hold harmless form signed (per our insurance carrier) and a photo release form signed before your child can participate.
Again this year there will be no cost to the parents or kids participating, as this activity is being funded by Tusco Rifle Club, a Step Out Grant and supported by Tusco's Women on Target through the grant we receive from Friends of the NRA! The only cost to you is the time and gas you spend with your child as they participate in a wholesome, fun activity instead of in front of the x-box.

April 23 - Orientation and Safety meeting - 7 pm
April 30 - First Regular shoot
May 14 - Regular shoot
June 14, 11 & 25 - Regular shoots
July 9 & 23 - Regular shoots
August 6 & 20 - Final Regular shoots
If by chance you are not a club member but would like to see your child get involved in an activity such as trap shooting, then now is the time to join Tusco Rifle Club so you and your child(ren) can enjoy many hours of clean, wholesome fun together. We hope to see all of the kids back again this year as well as a lot of new faces.
