100 Yard Practice Range

A favorite range for testing loads at 100 yards. Has wood benches, a wide covered firing line and attached building where food is served during larger matches. The range is found in the western part of the club and is in-between the 100 yard Rimfire and 50 yard pistol range. It is also used for cowboy, steel plate matches, police qualification and training.

Rules

Permissible firearms

  • All pistol, rifle, slug guns and sub-machine guns
  • .50 cal. BMG firing prohibited

Approved targets

  • Paper targets on wood, plastic or metal frame target stands at least 12 inches above ground level
  • Manufactured metal reactionary type swinging and/or knock-down targets
No other targets are permissible
All brass to be cleaned up and all target debris to be carried away
